Lapunti Arnis De Abanico, otherwise referred simply as 'Lapunti', is a style of arnis or eskrima that originated from Cebu, Philippines. It is a comprehensive and unified martial art system that includes training in the use of blunt or impact weapons (i.e., solo baston, doble baston), blades (i.e., daga, espada, espada y daga), and empty hand techniques (i.e., striking, disarming, locks and takedowns). Training in Lapunti allows practitioners to develop physical, mental, and spiritual skills, which can be used not only in combat or self-defense scenarios but also in everyday life by instilling values that would help improve one's character.
